Sofia Shershunovich selects Bunnies necklace as part of her outfits.
Writer and street style photographer Sofia Shershunovich (a.k.a. Sofia Bak) was born in Kiev, she but now calls London home. Sofia travels frequently, photographing stylish people wherever she goes. She’s contributed to several magazines and websites, including ZOOT and Harper’s Bazaar Russia, and she runs her own blogs: Frolic72 and Green Mean. She also landed a great gig with Vogue Italia: Sofia worked as their street style photographer during London Fashion Week and snapped some of fashion’s most stylish people. She’s still putting those photos to good use: Sofia just launched a new blog calledFashion Faces, which she hopes will serve as a directory for fashion industry newcomers and insiders alike. “When I shoot people’s style they seem happy to be spotted, but what they don’t know is that some of them inspire me so much I obsess over their outfits and sometimes go out and buy or make the same stuff,” Sofia says. She admires famed fashion writer Hilary Alexander for her impeccable style and her lovely attitude, calling Alexander her “fashion week crush.” Sofia tells us she has a “serious relationship” with black, but that she knows that great accessories truly make an outfit. “Normally, the way I pick out an outfit is I select one thing I feel like wearing, usually a piece of jewelry, and build a look around it.” A woman after our own hearts!
